What we collect

When you write to us: the site has no form. The “Write to us” button opens your own email app; we then receive your email address, your name and the content of your message, as with any email.

When you visit the site: no cookies, no analytics, no targeted advertising and no trackers. Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse; these logs are kept for a few days only.

Property listings come from Centris and are published by the listing brokers. For sold properties, the site shows neither the price nor the exact address.

Why we use it

To answer your questions and support your selling, buying or investment project, and to keep the site working and secure. We do not use your information for any other purpose without your consent.

Sharing with third parties

We do not sell or rent your personal information. It may be shared with the agency we are affiliated with or with other parties to your transaction, with your consent, or when required by law.

Cloudflare may process technical browsing data outside Québec, including in the United States, under security measures and contractual data protection commitments.

Retention and security

Your correspondence is kept as long as needed to follow up on your request and in accordance with the record-keeping rules that apply to real estate brokers. The site is served over HTTPS only (encrypted connection).

Your rights

You may ask to access or correct the information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to its use, by writing to the person in charge (samuel.barriere@remax-quebec.com). We respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).

Links to other sites

The site links to Centris, RE/MAX, Realtor.ca, Facebook and Instagram. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply as soon as you visit them.

This policy may be updated; the date of the last change appears at the top of the page.
